Project flow

Projects are typically divided in two phases: the binding assay establishment and the label-free competition. The first phase extends over a period of 2-3 weeks and establishes the interaction (KD, kon/off) between the GFP-tagged target and the labeled tool compound. The second phase also typically take about 2-3 weeks and allows label-free measurements of ligand affinities (KI) and kinetics (kon/off).

We recently published with our customer Merck KGaA the use of FCCS to support the identification of Methionine Aminopeptidase-2 (MetAP-2) inhibitor M8891.
