The technology  

FCCS is a single-molecule sensitive fluorescence technique which analyzes fluctuations of fluorescence intensity of freely-diffusing labeled molecules within a femtoliter-sized detection volume.

Through correlation analysis, information on concentration, diffusion coefficient and brightness of the molecules is extracted. 

We recently published with our customer Merck KGaA the use of FCCS to support the identification of Methionine Aminopeptidase-2 (MetAP-2) inhibitor M8891.
